a

Include
the
following
information:
Schubert:
Elfking
(Erlkonig)
1.
2.
Genre:
Lied
I
thought
this
peace
was
beautiful.
I
thought
it
was
cool
how
the
singer
can
contrast
between
singing
tones
for
the
father,
son,
Erlkonig,
and
the
narrator.
The
son,
given
his
situation,
is
frantic
with
fear,
and
the
performer’s
tenor
voice
in
his
parts
give
off
that
emotion.
The
father’s
bass
is
sturdy
as
if
the
father
knows
what
lies
behind
him
and
is
trying
to
convince
himself
it
isn’t
real.
Elfking’s
voice
sounded
very
rich
and
melodious.
Chopin:
Etude,
Op.
10,
No.
12
(Revolutionary).
1.
2.
3.
Genre:
Piano
Etude
Absolute
music
This
piece
sounded
like
so
many
keys
were
played
at
once
all
throughout
which
I
found
pretty
impressive.
Chopin’s
piece
sounded
very
sad
as
if
he
was
speaking
about
his
life
story.
I
personally
did
not
like
it
as
it
sounded
a
little
hectic.
But,
this
piece
definitely
sounded
like
it
takes
a
great
piano
player
to
play
those
keys
at
a
fast
pace.
Hensel:
September:

River,
from
The
Year
(Das
Jahr)
1.
2.
3.
Genre:
Character
Piece
Program
music
This
piece
was
fluid
and
enticing.
I
personally
liked
this
piece
as
it
had
a
beautiful
piano
melody.
It
sounded
very
peaceful
to
close
your
eyes
and
just
listen
to
on
a
good
day.
It
was
a
very
"absorbing”
music
to
where
you
can
actually
imagine
the
water
flowing.
Berlioz:
Symphonie
Fantastique,
IV
1.
Genre:
Program
symphony
2.
Program
music
3.
This
piece
to
me
was
very
trippy.
It
was
quite
interesting
to
listen
on
how
Berlioz
utilizes
the
French
horn
and
bassoon
in
this
piece.
But,
personally
I
did
not
like
this
piece
of
music
as
much.
My
only
favorite
part
was
the
beginning.
Dvorak:
String
Quartet
in
F
Major,
Op.
96
(American),
I
1.
Genre:
String
Quartet
2.
Absolute
music
3.
This
piece
is
my
favorite
first
string
quartet
thus
far.
This
piece
made
me
love
the
instrument
viola
more.
The
viola
was
very
beautiful
in
this
piece.
Classical
music
is
very
underrated
in
my
opinion.
I
love
how
beneficial
it
is
taking
this
course
by
experiencing
great
new
pieces
I
have
never
listened
to
before.
Verdi:
Rigoletto,
Act
II1
1.
Genre:
Opera
2.
This
was
actually
the
piece
my
vocal
teacher
in
chorus
back
in
high
school
wanted
me
to
sing.
We
ended
up
changing
the
piece
before
my
performance
came
around
as
it
was
a
lot
to
sing
at
moments
without
breathing
in.
This
piece
reminds
me
of
a
few
things
that
is
Italian
like
pizza.
But
it
does
have
a
catchy
tune
to
it
that
will
have
you
attempting
to
sing
it
all
day.
Brahms:
A
German
Requiem,
IV
1.
Genre:
Requiem
Mass
2.
This
piece
was
very
angelic.
I
am
very
picky
about
what
I
like
but
I
loved
this
piece.
It
reminds
me
of
my
chorus
days
singing
soprano.
The
singers
sounded
very
beautifully.
This
is
definitely
on
my
top
ten
list
of
favorite
pieces
from
back
in
the
day.
String
Quartet,
Character
Piece,
Piano
Etude,
Opera,
Requiem
Mass,
Lied,
Program
Symphony
