Do you feel comfortable completing the Power BI aspects of Milestone Two?
o
Yes, I feel comfortable with the Power BI aspects. I have some experience in working with Power BI firsthand as a user. I do not see it as a potential problem.
What are your current thoughts on your recommendations for a strategic plan?
o
I feel good about my recommendations. The organization is willing to pursue the innovations and the plans that I’ve recommended are reasonable when it comes to
financial and risk.
What are your current thoughts on competitors’ relative strengths in the marketplace?
o
Each competitor offers their own positives and has adjusted to their own market. BMW is a luxury car brand that is looking to provide a great experience. Toyota is very much about providing the customers access to their social media and interconnectivity to the internet. VW is a well-known brand for reliability, but they are looking to make their car an extension of the persons’ home.
Describe some of the ways the company from the course scenario could adjust if business conditions change.
o
How could business conditions change?
Business conditions can change depending on the wants and needs of the customers. Updates to mobile technology could change how the market operates. Changes in the job market or global health issues could also have
major effects on business. o
How could the company change its strategic plan?
The organization would have to adjust its strategic plan in line with the market and business environment movement. Hiring of additional staff or partnering with additional organizations could be warranted. Moving up of
timelines and lengthening of timelines could also be warranted.

DONUT DAY AT THE OFFICE
Part 5
Derek: We need someone we can trust who can divide up the donuts. One set of rules and what we've done in the past can't always be applied here. If we had an impartial judge or two in the mix, someone who doesn't like donuts perhaps, they could take into account all of the changing factors impacting our donut sphere and make up rules that will bring glazed-happiness to all who they think need it.

Enabling Assessment 13: Key Strategic Leadership Actions
As discussed in this module, there are several actions that characterize effective
strategic leadership. In this exercise, you will use these actions to evaluate two
top-level managers who are widely known and who have served as the CEO
and/or chairman of his firm for a long period of time. The length of time these
individuals have served their firms allows you to find a wealth of information about
their actions as strategic leaders as well as the results of those actions. You can
consult each firm's Web site as well as search engines to find the information and
materials you will need to complete this exercise.
In the chart below, provide an example of each strategic leadership action for each
of the two individuals. (Note: You are not being asked to provide an example of
the "exploiting and maintaining core competencies" action. The reason for this is
that this action is internal to the firm, meaning that it would be difficult…
