Anderson Mesa Station Anderson Table Station is an astronomical lookout established inwards 1959 arsenic a dark-sky observant site for Lowell Observatory. It is located astatine Anderson Table inwards Coconino County, Arizona, nearly 12 miles (19 km) southeasterly of Lowell's briny campus along Mars Hill in Flagstaff, Arizona. Telescopes Current telescopes The 1.83 m (72 in) Perkins Scope is divided with Boston University (BU) and Georgia Tell University. Built inwards 1931 past Warner & Swasey Company, it was primitively set astatine the Perkins Observatory of Ohio Wesleyan University (OWU) in Delaware, Ohio. It was moved to Anderson Table in 1961, and was purchased by Lowell in 1998. Lowell and BU formed a partnership to operate the scope that year, and GSU united later. The original 69-inch mirror, which was figured past J. W. Fecker, Inc., was the largest a part of glass always mould in America when it was poured. It was replaced in 1965 with the stream mirror made of Duran-50 low-expansion glass. The 1.07 m (42 in) John Anteroom Telescope was reinforced past AstroMechanics and installed at Anderson Mesa inward 1970. It was named subsequently former Lowell Observatory manager John S. Hallway n 1990. In 2004, the Ritchey-Chrétien telescope was upgraded with a young mirror from Hextek, and with other parts. The 0.79 s (31 in) scope of the National Undergrad N Lookout (NURO) was reinforced by AstroMechanics and installed in 1964 astatine Anderson Table past the U.S. Geological Study (USGS) for Externalise Apollo. It was purchased by Lowell inward 1972, and refurbished inward 1990. It is used past the NURO consortium for up to 60% of the time, and by Lowell scientists. The Navy Precision Optical Interferometer (NPOI) is coaction of Lowell Observatory, the U.S. Naval Observatory (USNO) Flagstaff Post (NOFS), and the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL). Expression on the facility began inwards 1992, and technology tests began n 1994. The first images were acquired n 1996. Former telescopes The 0.6 m (24 in) Lowell Observatory Near-Earth-Object Lookup (LONEOS) Schmidt camera was exploited to lookup for asteroids and other near-earth objects. It was built by J. W. Fecker, Inc. n 1939, given to Perkins Observatory in the 1950s, and purchased past Lowell inward 1990. Start in 1992 it was refurbished, and saw 1st lightness in the attic that antecedently held the Lowell Astrograph n 1997. Use of the telescope ended on with the LONEOS externalize inwards 2008.

The 0.33 m (13 in) Abbot L. Lowell Astrograph, also known as the Pluto Uncovering Telescope and informally equally the Pluto Camera, is an astrograph built by Alvan Clark & Sons n 1929.
