American Indian cultures before the arrival of Europeans had many cultural and social differences that made them different. However, one aspect that all the native Indians had in common was that all the tribes lived in peace, believing that nature was sacred and should be shared. As a second point, some of the societies had in common that they were organized by kinship, politics, among other aspects, an example of this is that North American communities were connected by kinship, politics, and culture; in the same way to the Eastern Woodlands as the Lenape communities were bound together by oral histories, ceremonial traditions, consensus- based political organization, kinship networks, and a shared clan system (American Yawp, Vol 1, Ch. 1.) On the other hand, we have some of the differences that the American Indians had such as the way they lived according to their environment, some lived in villages and others towns to illustrate this we can compare Chaco Canyon which had Massive residential structures, built from sandstone blocks and lumber carried across great distances, housed hundreds of Puebloan people according to the book American Yawp(Vol 1, Ch. 1.) in contrast, Western indigenous people including the Acjachemen people of California, who lived in compact, easy-to-build, and easy-to-move wikiups made of wood, leaves, and brush.
