Dice Game
Write a
The program should have a loop that iterates 10 times. Each time the loop iterates, it should roll both dice. The die with the highest value wins. (In case of a tie, there is no winner for that particular roll of the dice.)
As the loop iterates, the program should keep count of the number of times the computer wins, and the number of times that the user wins. After the loop performs all of its iterations, the program should display who was the grand winner, the computer or the user.

- Assignment Description This program will simulate part of the game of Yahtzee! This is a dice game that involves rolling five dice and scoring points based on what show up on those five dice. The players would record their scores on a score card, and then total them up, and the player with the larger total wins the game. A Yahtzee score card has two portions: The upper portion has spaces for six scores, obtained by adding up all of the 1's, 2's, 3's, etc. The lower portion has special scores for various combinations: Three of a kind -- at least 3 dice are the same number;the score is the sum of all five dice Four of a kind -- at least 4 dice are the same number;the score is the sum of all five dice Small straight -- four consecutive numbers are represented, e.g. 2345;the score is 25 points Large straight -- five consecutive numbers are represented, e.g. 23456;the score is 30 points Full House -- three of one kind, two of another; the score is 30 points Yahtzee! -- five of a kind; the…arrow_forwardComputer Science Part C: Interactive Driver Program Write an interactive driver program that creates a Course object (you can decide the name and roster/waitlist sizes). Then, use a loop to interactively allow the user to add students, drop students, or view the course. Display the result (success/failure) of each add/drop.arrow_forward9. Trivia Game In this programming exercise, you will create a simple trivia game for two players. The program will work like this: Starting with player 1, each player gets a turn at answering 5 trivia questions. (There should be a total of 10 questions.) When a question is displayed, 4 possible answers are also displayed. Only one of the answers is correct, and if the player selects the correct answer, he or she earns a point. After answers have been selected for all the questions, the program displays the number of points earned by each player and declares the player with the highest number of points the winner. To create this program, write a Question class to hold the data for a trivia question. The Question class should have attributes for the following data: A trivia question Possible answer 1 Possible answer 2 Possible answer 3 Possible answer 4 The number of the correct answer (1, 2, 3, or 4) The Question class also should have an appropriate _…arrow_forward
- Rock, Paper, Scissors Game Create a application using (C#) in Microsoft Visual Studio that lets the user play the game of Rock, Paper, Scissors against the computer. The program should work as follows.1. When the program begins, a random number in the range of 1 through 3 is generated. If the number is 1, then the computer has chosen rock. If the number is 2, then the computer has chosen paper. If the number is 3, then the computer has chosen scissors. (Do not display the computer’s choice yet.)2. The user selects his or her choice of rock, paper, or scissors. To get this input you use clickable PictureBox controls displaying some of the artwork that you will find in the student sample files.3. The computer’s choice is displayed.4. A winner is selected according to the following rules: •If one player chooses rock and the other player chooses scissors, then rock wins. (Rock smashes scissors.)•If one player chooses scissors and the other player chooses paper, then scissors wins.…arrow_forward9. Because ticket agents frequently mistype long ticket numbers, Travel Tickets has asked you to write an application that indicates invalid ticket number entries. The class prompts a ticket agent to enter a six-digit ticket number. Ticket numbers are designed so that if you drop the last digit of the number, then divide the number by 7, the remainder of the division will be identical to the last dropped digit. This process is illustrated in the following example: Step 1. Enter the ticket number; for example, 123454. Step 2. Remove the last digit, leaving 12345. Step 3. Determine the remainder when the ticket number is divided by 7. In this case, 12345 divided by 7 leaves a remainder of 4. Step 4. Assign the Boolean value of the comparison between the remainder and the digit dropped from the ticket number. Step 5. Display the result—true or false—in a message box. Accept the…arrow_forward
- GameAA.java This program allows a user to play “Rock, paper, scissors” against the computer. Use a random number generator to generate the computer’s selection. Your code should ask the user what they choose and then report the computer’s choice and who wins. This code should run in a loop and should end when the user chooses to end. (Make sure your random number generator chooses a new number each time the loop runs.) ALSO, your code should keep track of the number of times you win, the number of times you lose, and the number of ties. When the user exits, these statistics should be displayed. (Consider using a different counter variable to keep track of each value.) Make sure your code accounts for inputs that are out of the acceptable range. For example, if you ask the user to type 0 to end, 1 for Rock, 2 for Paper, and 3 for Scissors, your code should tell the user that they entered an invalid choice if they select 4. (You do not have to account for users who crash the…arrow_forwardLap Timer Tool Write a program ON PYTHON that asks the user to enter the number of times that they have run around a racetrack, and then uses a loop to prompt them to enter the lap time for each of their laps. When the loop finishes, the program should display the time of their fastest lap, the time of their slowest lap, and their average lap time.arrow_forward(Simulation) Write a program to simulate the roll of two dice. If the total of the two dice is 7 or 11, you win; otherwise, you lose. - Question Language: JAVA Keep Guessing Write a program that plays a number-guessing game to guess a secret number randomly generated within the range 1 and 10. The user will get as many numbers of tries as he/she needs to guess the number. Tell the users if their guess is right or wrong and if their guess is wrong let them try to guess the number again. You must generate the secret number using the Java Random class. When the user guesses a number he/she will have to take an input of his guessed number from the keyboard. The user will have to take as many inputs as needed to guess the correct secret-number. That means the code will keep looping as long as the guess is different from the secret number. Use a while loop to prompt the user to guess again if the guess is wrong. Create a class named NumberGuessingGame which will contain the main method, write all your code in the main method. Sample input and output: Suppose the random number generated is 6. I have chosen a…arrow_forwardUsing a Sentinel Value to Control a while Loop in Java Summary In this lab, you write a while loop that uses a sentinel value to control a loop in a Java program that has been provided. You also write the statements that make up the body of the loop. The source code file already contains the necessary variable declarations and output statements. Each theater patron enters a value from 0 to 4 indicating the number of stars the patron awards to the Guide’s featured movie of the week. The program executes continuously until the theater manager enters a negative number to quit. At the end of the program, you should display the average star rating for the movie. Instructions Ensure the file named MovieGuide.java is open. Write the while loop using a sentinel value to control the loop, and write the statements that make up the body of the loop to calculate the average star rating. Execute the program by clicking Run.
