Introduction: Neurons are specialized cells that help collect external information, analyse the information and respond to it. Neurons make up a large signaling network, called the nervous system, in the body.
Explanation of Solution
Neuron consists of three major regions: a cell body, the dendrites, and an axon. Dendrites receive signals to the brain called impulses and carry the impulses into the cell body. An axon carries nerve impulses from the cell body to other muscles and neurons.
A reflex arc is a nerve pathway comprised of a sensory neuron, a motor neuron and an interneuron.
