Explanation of Solution
Genetic recombination: It is defined as the rearrangement of the DNA sequence by breaking of the DNA and joining to another position. Genetic recombination between homologues chromosomes results in the shuffling of alleles during meiosis.
Polyploidy: Ploidy is referred to as the set of chromosomes present in a cell. Polyploidy can be defined as presence more than 2 sets of chromosome in a cell or an organism.
