Introduction:

Each muscle consists of many small fibers. They are in the form of elastic tissues. The length of a muscle is about 40 mm (millimeters). Muscle fibers can mostly shorten to about 60–75% of their length. The arrangement of the fibers is in a circular way, like concentric rings. The patterns of fascicle arrangements in muscles are circular, convergent, fusiform, parallel, and pinnate.
