The occupation that I will be researching is a contractor because it is almost like being a construction manager but the difference is that contractors are self employed and they make a little more than construction managers. 2.) The responsibilities of a contractor is that he is “responsible for the day to day management of all aspects of the field work for the construction project and on the construction site” (Clough et al. 307). 3.) Employment for contractors all depends if he the contractor wants to be self employed or work as a construction manager for a construction company. This doesn't change my mind about not pursuing this career this just shows that you will have to do whatever it takes to make sure that projects don’t turn out awful and that they turn out great so your clients will recommend you to family or to people who just want a project done right.
