Average Number of WordsIf you have downloaded the source code from the Computer Science Portal you will find a filenamed text.txt in the Chapter 08 folder. The text that is in the file is stored as one sentenceper line. Write a program that reads the file’s contents and calculates the average number ofwords per sentence.(You can access the Computer Science Portal at www.pearsonhighered.com/gaddis.)
Task: Loading data from files
This exercise will require you to load some information from files and use it in your program.
scene.txt contains a description of a series of shapes and colours to draw. You need to write code to read in the file data and draw the requested shapes in the correct colour. Each line in scene.txt will contain one of the following starting keywords followed by some data:
COLOUR followed by 3 values: R, G, B
CIRCLE followed by 3 values: X, Y, RADIUS
RECT Followed by 4 values: X, Y, W, H
LINE Followed by 4 values: X1, Y1, X2, Y2
CIRCLES are defined from the center. RECT's are defined from the top left. All values are space separated, and you can assume all input is correct (no errors). Please solve this program to draw the scene.
I can't upload the file scene.txt, so I decide to screenshot a file for you.

Searching - a user should be able to search by ID or by item name
create only one menu item for searching
a user should be able to enter the name of the item using any case, (for example, sTRolleR)
you may wish to store items in all lower/upper case to expedite the search
write one search function that can search by ID and name and goes through the array of structs/objects only once
show the entire record if found or an appropriate message if not
Sorting - sort by any field
write one function to sort by any field using a parallel array of pointers
use Bubble Sort is not the most effective but the easiest to modify.
do not copy and paste sort code five times into the same function.
sorting using pointers is faster because you have to swap pointers only, which are normally stored in 4 bytes each; it also allows you to preserve the original order of the items
If you choose to have a submenu, a submenu must have an option to go back to the previous menu or main menu
if a user got…

- Program Description: The project is a student management system which maintains student records in a simple text file. Your task is to write a program to save a list of students records in a FILE and then perform several operations on this FILE. Your program will ask user to choose the option from a menu. The 3 major function in menu are: ADD STUDENT FIND STUDENT PRINT LIST Exit How it Works The menu is handled by do while and switch statement. Sample output The Methods to be implemented are as follows: 1. ADDSTUDENT This method will add a new student to the file. It takes 3 parameters ( student name, id, and GPA). Your program must ask the user to enter the details of new students: Name, ID and GPA 2. FINDSTUDENT This method will search for a student with his/her id in the file. If the student is found it will print her/his record to the output. If the student is not found it will print “There is no record of this student in this system” 3. Your program should allow the user to add, view, delete, and update the contacts in the phonebook. Note that one person can have multiple contact numbers. The program will stop when the user command is ‘X’. Program command and entry should not be case-sensitive. That means commands ‘I’ or ‘i’ and the name “Jacky” or “JACKY” are the same. Each contact number can be 7 digits or 11 digits only. The user should input a string containing the command, name, and contact number(s) (Limit the contact number of each person to three). This string should be broken down into fields in order to separate the different values and store them in their appropriate variables. Use linked list in the implementation. Your node must declare at least four instance variables. Program flow: Command> I Jacky 09211234567 Remarks: New contact has been added. World Series Champions If you have downloaded this book’s source code (the companion Web site is available at www.pearsonhighered.com/gaddis), you will find a file named WorldSeriesWinners.txt. This file contains a chronological list of the winning teams in the World Series from 1903 through 2009. (The first line in the file is the name of the team that won in 1903, and the last line is the name of the team that won in 2009. Note that the World Series was not played in 1904 or 1994, so those years are skipped in the file.) Write a program that lets the user enter the name of a team, and then displays the number of times that team has won the World Series in the time period from 1903 through 2009. Tip: Read the contents of the WorldSeriesWinners.txt file into an ArrayList. When the user enters the name of a team, the program should step through the ArrayList, counting the number of times the selected team appears You only need to submit the…arrow_forward
- 1994 Weekly Gas GraphIn the student sample programs for this book, you will find a text file named 1994_Weekly_Gas_Averages.txt. The file contains the average gas price for each week in the year 1994.(There are 52 lines in the file.) Random numbers File: random_numbers.py (Quick note: NEVER name your files the same as a Python module. If you call this file random.py it won't let you import the real random.) (Another quick note: Don't let yourself get stuck on something for too long. If one part of one question starts taking you too long, just leave it, move on and come back to it later.) Write a complete Python program that ask the user for quantity of random numbers and a maximum, then generates and store that many numbers between 0 and the maximum. When you've got this part working, add the following interesting additions: minimum maximum random choice from existing list (Hint: if there are 7 numbers it will be a number at a random index 0-6) the list reversed* the list sorted* Note*: Python's .reverse() and .sort() list methods do NOT return the reversed or sorted list... they modify the list in place. So, if you write something like: print(numbers.sort()) You will not get what you expect. Use the information to calculate and displays a person’s body mass index (BMI). The BMI is often used to determine whether a person with a sedentary lifestyle is overweight or underweight for his or her height. A person’s BMI is calculated with the following formula: BMI = weight × 703 / height2 where weight is measured in pounds and height is measured in inches. The file is in the format name weightInKG heightInCM You will read the name, weight and height for 4 people from the file, and you will need to convert the weights in the file to pounds (note that 1 kilogram = 2.2 pounds) and the heights to inches (2.54 cm = 1 inch). - CMPSC 125: C++ Programming Programming Project Assignment Program Description: This assignment focuses on while loops and random numbers. Turn in a file named Lab4_yourFirstName.cpp. Your program allows the user to play a game in which the program thinks of a random integer and accepts guesses from the user until the user guesses the number correctly. After each incorrect guess, you will tell the user whether the correct answer is higher or lower. The below shows one sample execution of your program. Your output will differ depending on the random numbers chosen and user input typed, but the overall output structure should match that shown below: I am thinking of a number between 1 and 100 Your guess? 50 [Enter] It's lower Your guess? 25 [Enter] It's higher Your guess? 35 [Enter] It's lower Your guess? 30 [Enter] It's higher Your guess? 32 (Enter] It's lower Your guess? 31 [Enter] You got it right in 6 guesses!
