Explanation of Solution
Dalton’s atomic theory states that all atoms of an element are identical in mass but after the discovery of isotopes this statement was proved wrong. As isotopes are the atoms of an element with different number of neutrons due to which these atoms have difference in there masses.
All atoms of an element cannot have similar mass due to the existence of an isotopes.
