Chapter 23, Problem 7WIO
Summary Introduction
To determine:
The role of different organ systems during exercising in the gym and three hypothesis that explain the reason for finding identical workouts easier on some days as compared to others.
Introduction:
There are eleven organ systems in the body namely integumentary, nervous, circulatory, muscular, skeletal, lymphatic, respiratory, endocrine, urinary/excretory, reproductive and digestive. These organ systems are responsible for efficient functioning of the body. The functioning of each and every organ system is dependent on the functioning of other organ systems of the body. The organ systems together form a functional body.

Make and keep a list of the general principles of physiology. See if you can explain what is meant by each principle. To really see how well you’ve learned physiology at the end of your course, remember to return to the list you’ve made and try this exercise again at that time.
What is Physical Fitness? Explain
Why Physical fitness is important?
What are the benefits of Physical Fitness?
What are the benefits of exercise in Physical, Mental and Social?
Most children do not need to be told to exercise - they get physical activity through their daily activities, through play. However, as we age, we often become more sedentary due to the modern format of work and learning. It can be very challenging to meet physical activity recommendations as an adult, as you saw in yesterday's readings and the causes of death last week.
Given that people generally don't stick with an activity they don't enjoy, how can we make exercising fun? Answer by reflecting on your own experiences
