Arteries are thick walled blood vessels that carry blood away from the heart. Aorta is the largest artery, which supply the oxygenated blood coming from the heart to the whole body (except the lungs). Veins are thin walled blood vessels that bring blood into the heart from the whole body. The two main types of the veins are: superior vena cava and inferior vena cava.
