Restricted Asset can be classified as:
- Permanently Restricted - It is an asset that must be used in a designated way and whose principal cannot be touched. The income generated from the principal amount credited directly towards fund as per the donor’s choice.
- Temporarily Restricted − It is an asset that has a special restriction imposed by the donor that either requires the asset to be used in a certain manner or removal of restriction after a certain amount of time has passed.
