To ensure that my program evaluation is objective, credible and fair I would employ internal and external counselors or advisors as well as align my program evaluation with the standards and practices of the professional body of evaluators. These “advisors “may or may not include the program stakeholders, but would not negate the formal process of collaborating with key stakeholders. Rather, the purpose of my advisor team is to see and hear things I missed. These advisors are to me as the evaluator as the football coach is to the quarterback: the coach/ advisors supply information to the quarterback/evaluator who directs the game/evaluation. In addition, I would employ Fitzpatrick’s advice to consider a wide array of methods to collect information. Multiple methods can be used to increase validity, to enhance understanding, or to inform subsequent data collection. (Fitzpatrick, 2011). Moving from my informal evaluation methods acquired from examine my biases, to mitigate against bias in a more” formal “evaluation process the evaluator still first must examine themselves honestly and be clear on their position, their allegiances and their adversaries. It goes without saying that evaluation reports should not be unfair, unbalanced or inaccurate. Yet truth is elusive and even the most scrupulous evaluator must struggle to see that carefully collected and analyzed information is not later distorted, intentionally or unintentionally in presentation. The assessment is used to decide whether a program accomplishes the goals of the program and ensures stakeholders stay on task producing constantly improving results by inspecting all areas of the program, including determining needs, analyzing program costs, examining employee roles and their responsibilities, conducting an economic and efficiency audit, and deciding the next steps the program should undertake.
Some technical and political aspects of the program planning and evaluation I might encounter in the program scenario I chose, may be trying to reach out to those individuals that are or have been involved with the criminal justice system. Funding may not allow for these services to be provided to these individuals. Another aspect may be that the community is not aware of this program and the services that it provides. Grants could be another issue. If the program cannot show its effectiveness then grants may not be given and this could results in loss of services provided. A political aspect could be that one “favoritism” over evaluations. Some may use their political influence to “guide” the evaluation to present or not present the “selected” truth. (Yuen, 2003) There are many pressures from the individual who performs the evaluation to make it look; “good” This is a big political concern for programs.
Unit 401 - Understanding the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of assessment.
First, would look at my measurement method to make sure that it is reliable and valid. Making sure that the measurements are representing the people and the program accurately, enough sample size is use to represent the program, and make sure there is no participants contamination. Second, the time from when the program started and when the evaluation process starts can also show that the program have no impact. It takes a long time for programs to work out the kink and bumps along the way and sometimes having an evaluation conducted within a year will not show the program at its full potential. There is also the sleeper effect where the program will not show impact until a much later time. Having an open and clear communication with the stakeholders will let me know what they are looking in the program evaluation so that I can focus on those aspects to make sure I use accurate

Purpose: To provide 554th Engineer Battallion with direction and guidance to assist in executing The Total Army Sponsorship Program and its priciples of service, support, functions and standards.
Overall this evaluation shows the continual disconnect with the EOF staff and this college. This evaluation fails to mention the true condition this EOF program was in, how the EOF program was viewed to the state, on the campus, and to the students before I walked on the campus. This evaluation chooses to portray an unfair image of me over the outstanding job that I have done in spite of what I have faced. In this report you don’t see the comments that the state director said about the program before I started working here and how the state director is extremely happy with the state of the program once I started working at this college. You don’t see how the stakeholders across the campus are ecstatic about EOF and the new direction it is going. Most of all it doesn’t mention the obvious changes that have happened with student engagement. As you go through the evaluation it makes me look immature and highlights the battles I had to faced taking on a declining program. This report fails to show that this condition put me in an unfavorable position. Nothing was normal about the condition of the program. At the beginning of the program an internal evaluator will be conducting the evaluation. He or she will be more familiar with the program, and responsible for the decision-making within the program, will be up to date with current and future results, and will be able to communicate with the directors of the intervention frequently and clearly. He or she will focus on a formative evaluation because is a method to obtain and to judge before or during the implementation
Team Read’s program evaluation completed by the independent evaluator Margo Jones took an overall look at Team Read based off of statistical analysis conducted in two different phases. These phases evaluated different scopes of Team Read, the readers the coaches and mentors. The program that this student has designed and will test will not be in a “corporate” type building, it will be conducted within a classroom inside of a public school. This program will be centered on the idea in which both teachers and school administrators come together in helping to truly create a better future through their students, our future. In this classroom volunteers, teachers and therapists will meet to discuss the performance of children in that school. These volunteers would also help collect food and distribute this food to the children in need and their families. This classroom would be the base for educating both teachers and school administrators about healthy boundary crossings, such as when is it appropriate

Eastman makes the point know in her essay that an honest and true feminist no matter where she stands in the movement she will see to the woman’s fight with strength and courage and how it matters in the future and as well as its difference in its approach for the workers fight for industrial freedom. Eastman state “In fighting for the right to vote most women have tried to be either non-committal or thoroughly respectable on every other subject. Now they can say what they are really after; and what they are after, in common with all the rest of the struggling world, is freedom”
Performance evaluations should focus on the individual’s job performance and not the individual. The four managers all have the same goal when it comes to their perspectives on performance appraisals and that is, they want to do what is best for their subordinates to motivate them to perform in their department’s best interest. Tom has a top priority to provide true and accurate feedback so employees know exactly where they stand. While I agree that evaluations definitely need to have a base of accuracy, I like Max’s view that most of good management is psychology. To know to act to do what is in the individual’s and department’s best interest, a manager needs to understanding people’s strengths and faults, and know how to motivate and reward employees. If that means a little fine-tuning, then so be it. Lynne, on the other hand, contaminated one of her workers evaluations by considering the individuals personal issues and inflated her rating to encourage and support her.
