1. Ernestine Friedl says that the position of women is higher the more they are involved in (l) primary subsistence (as owners or controllers, NOT merely as laborers) and (2) the PUBLIC distribution of the product of subsistence. Use this argument to account for the position of women in Kung society. Make sure you use both part (l) and part (2) of Friedl’s argument. (Don’t worry that Friedl’s argument is simplistic; she is not trying to say that women’s role in subsistence is the ONLY factor that affects their position in society.)
When you review various curricular plans, you may see a variety of terms. Some programs use the term “program outcomes” while others use the term “terminal objectives” for those actions that the student is expected to accomplish upon graduation. The same is true for individual courses. Some programs call the knowledge and skills that a student should master by the end of the course “course outcomes” while others use the term “course objectives.” All of the terms have a specified definition in literature and according to accreditation agencies. What are the similarities and differences between the terms according to the literature and to accrediting agencies? Select a program or course (other than GCU) and critique their use of these terms. Do they use them in a manner consistent with the literature and/or accreditation agencies or do they use them differently? Include your review of the program in your response to this discussion question. Support your response with literature. Your critique could be at the program level or at the course level. You do not need to do both levels.
The City of the Tontitown wants to add a City Hall parking. The project designer is McClelland Consulting Engineering, Inc. The City advertise the project in the newspaper and gives the date and the time for opening the offers of the bidders. The method that the city used in the bidding process was the design-bid-build because the city wants to find the lowest price for the construction of the parking and have fair bidding process.
You need to effectively ask them the questions you have jotted down in your list. In addition, the contractor must be given the ability to witness the job site so that they precisely know what is required of them. In addition, you will fail to get a realistic bid from them if you do not allow them to witness the site that requires granite paving.
In the process of reviewing the provided Request for Proposal (RFP) it has came to our team’s attention that there are several areas of concern. To begin with there is no identifying name or reference number so as to separate this request for proposal from any other that the originator my have out for review. There is no creation date or closing date for applications. This makes it very hard for the contractor to reference this RFP in correspondence to the point of contact. With the fact outstanding that there is no point of contact listed or a contracting office or department named in the RFP, collecting addition information presents it own problems. The Five-W and How questions referenced in chapter two of Johnson-Sheehan’s, Writing Proposals would be consider as ignored by the contractor. (Johnson-Sheehan, 2008). If the contractor was interested enough he would have to work his way through a long list of red tape to get his proposal to the proper person for review and
The market for farm produce is volatile, reflecting changes in climate as well as market trends. As such it is often difficult to predict harvest yields. Overproduction in 2000 resulted in the price of raw cranberries falling from over $60 a barrel to under $20. Atlantic Quench responded to the volatile market by reducing its advertising and marketing budget. In addition to cutting back on expenditure, the co-operative paid the farmers $12 a barrel instead of the $18-a-barrell market price. As a result the relationship between the management of the co-operative and the farmers deteriorated, and the farmers exercised their power as shareholders of the co-operative by voting out four successive Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) between 2000 and 2003.
The budget for the new service project is $6490.00. It is to be funded through Cordova Landscaping’s project budget. An amount of $1000.00 will be held as contingency reserves on top of the budget.

For many years the USA did not conduct normal trading relations with Vietnam. In 2001 a trade agreement was signed between the two countries which reduced tariffs, encouraged foreign direct investment and opened up export markets.
