Personal Statement: Why I Should Be Staff

Why do you want to become a staff member?:As I've said earlier I wan't to become staff because I enjoy it, I love making friendships with other staff and also with players. Some friendships you make with staff are some really close and bond able friendships, You are always talking and asking each other for advice or help. It's something you can't get as well as if you are just a player. Also I want to become staff because I really want to rid the server of hackers. i can be opn the server 6/7 days a week normally for 6-8 hours. Sometimes less because I am on summer, but then again sometimes more, because I am on summer.I understand I wouldn't be able to play but I think being staff would be something I would really enjoy and to help me gain experience for the real world, This would be a bigger step for me but I think I could handle it. I think that being staff on here would give me experience for a real job and to give me people skills. I think another reason I want to be staff is because I am a dedicated person and I do everything to the best of my ability, I will be getting up to 6 hours per day, If not more, and I will be on atleast 6 days a week.

- I'd like to become staff for one general reason, and that's of course to help. This statement branches off into numerous reasons, of course depending upon what server I'd be moderating. To start off, let me include that the server I play most is OP Factions. My main goal for this server is to make it a larger and more well known community. Aside from that, I'd like to stable an environment where rules are followed at all times. As we know, OP Factions is one of the smaller servers, and players at times take advantage of that to disobey rules when there are no staff online. If I was added to the staff team, I would be there to kick/mute the players that constantly advertise, use racism, or the one player that camps warp pvp with hacks.

If I am to get staff I will help out the server by being active and helping players with their problems. I will also warn people before I report them or mute/kick/ban them. I am active on the forums and will help people with their problems in the shoutbox.

1. Why do you want to be staff? -I believe I should be staff on this server because I've always wanted to. This is a really good server to start with because this is the most trusted and familiar server I play on. Also I have plenty of ideas I could bring to the server. Such as rank ideas and plugin ideas.

Why should you be chosen as a staff member? I should be chosen as staff because I got lot of experience that could benefit the server greatly. Such as favorable suggestions, player guidelines and much more! As a staff member, I know favoritism is a massive issue in many large communities. However, you shouldn't worry about me doing that. Friend or player they're all equal in my eyes, if either of them break

I never start another task without finishing the other to the best of my ability. I work hard in everything I do. I strive to be the best person I can be, improving myself in my academic and school life, social life, sports life, and gaming life. I am also very good at adjusting to somebody's skill level. If someone needs help with a math problem, I can help them. If someone needs help teleporting to their base, or their rank or item hasn't registered yet, I can assist them. If someone is new to the server, I can help welcome them in the hub, and give them guidance on their way to becoming a legend on the server, or even if they are only looking through servers and I help them, and if they enjoy their experience, they can tell their friends, and you can have a new twenty to thirty players. First impressions are very important to me. When I joined the server a player was being racist to me through /m, and bluejeanstogo helped me by warning the player or some other form of "scolding" or punishment, and I knew that this was the server for me. You should choose me because not only will I make a good first impression on new players, but I will continue to keep up the same attitude, helping people the whole time I am a member of the staff team. I mentioned earlier that I wasn't very active on the Teamspeak server. If I am recruited to the staff team, I can be more active,

I can contribute my great work ethic, sincere kindness, and willingness to help all players of our community. My integrity is outstanding, in my personal opinion. When I say something, I genuinely mean what I say and can be taken by my word. Complete honesty is an important quality to an ideal staff member. My morals have never been questioned, and have always been for the best. This would eliminate any spec of doubt staff may have about me. The sense of responsibility I poses would assure staff that I would put my all in the position as staff. The standards and expectations of staff will be met full, if I am given the opportunity. My work quality is superb and will not disappoint. While I can work on my own to meet tasks, I also work great with others. Team work is important in helping us reach greater heights and ensuring everyone is having a great time on the server.​

I would like to be part of this staff team, I believe that I could pass on my knowledge and experience from previous servers onto this one. As someone who is a little bit older than most people, I will be able to bring with me a more reasonable and patient frame of mind. I also believe that what comes with the role of staff is not only the power to keep everyone safe from those who wish to cause problems but its also important not to let the power go to ones head.

Why do you want to become staff?:I Want To become staff because i feel like i have much expirence to help out the server and ive hade lots of spare time and i would like to put the psare time to faithful and to its community.

One of the biggest reasons why I would love to become part of the staff is that I enjoy helping people. If someone has a question that they ask in chat, I am always on top of messaging them. I feel like as player in a community, it is my respoinsibility to not only enjoy the game I am playing, but for others to enjoy the game as well. I love to communicate with others in the chat, crack jokes, help out; anything I can do to make someone's day special. I think being a bog part in the community

I bring activeness, as well I would keep chat clean from arguments, spamming, and advertisers. As well I would bring a calm, freindly environment to the board and answer questions for new or even veteran players. I don't keep grudges against one person because it could lead to terrible things in the future. I know personally becoming a Trial helper will be a big responsibility because of the amount of players that join and play on Arkham daily. I would like this role as Trial aswell because it could teach me new things, and help me with growing responsibility even more.

I speak english and french. English Is my primary language. French Is my secondary language as I took 8 years in french immersion.

I have never been hired as staff for any server, but let me tell you, there are times where I act as a staff of a server and help players out report bugs, and report players for breaking the rules and regulations. Everyone must start at something and I hope this server could be my starting point and I believe I got the characteristics of what a good staff member should posses. I have played for a good amount of time on DecimatePvP, and not only on DecimatePvP, I have also played for around 3-4 years of factions now, and within these past years, I have learned more and more about how to be a good model to the players, especially when minecraft is a game for kids.

I want to become staff because it was a dream of mine and there are not many staff online when i am on. Some staff have recommended me to becoming a staff member also. I have thought about this for a while and finally decided to apply for staff. When staff aren't on i help the players who need help such as telling them what they need to do and the commands. I also love to help out others who need help. Becoming staff member was somethng i wanted to become for a while. It is annoying for me and other players when someone is spamming a server ip no staff are on at the moment. Just today someone was advertising and no staff member was on at the time and I took screen shots of the person advertising and got them

At the moment I'm not staff on any other servers and even if I was I would dedicate more time to this server as it needs more assistance given the amount of people playing it. Daedric has always been my number one priority when it comes to Minecraft and being given another chance as staff would mean the world to me. I think I have matured quite a bit since being staff the last time , which was about 4 months ago. I would need assistance on different circumstances such as when to mute, ban, temp ban, kick, ETC, as last time I was staff members thought I was using the wrong punishments for the wrong scenarios. The first time I was staff I was demoted because I wasn't used to the server's demands on which situations deserved which punishments.
