Friday, October 20, 2017 at 08:00 I was dispatched to a call of Mal Misc not in progress. The RP was reporting someone had slashed her tires. I arrived in the area and did not find the RP, so I called her on her cell phone with the number in the CAD. She advised me that she was at work, at the Tin Brick. She identified herself as Rebecca Argo. I went to the Tin Brick and spoke to Rebecca there about the incident. She said she had come out of her house early this morning and found her tires slashed or poked. That it was just not one, but three out of the four. She said she had to have a friend take her to work from the Les Schwab tire store. I asked her how she got the car there and she said she actually pumped up her tires and drove it there.
Production – Having a good production team can help your business stay up to the task of handling all of your demand needs. Knowing your production costs and the speed your employees can complete a task will help you to figure out how much profit can be made of an item. This can be done by taking in the time factor when working on a particular job and the parts required. The speed and quality of production plays a big factor in the company and keeping it running. Our employees in the business who are in the production department will be the engine room of the business. We would strive to keep them comfortable and provide them with enough down to make sure they are not over worked and stressed, which will give us better quality in
A text to speech (TTS) synthesizer is a computer based system that can read text aloud automatically, regardless of whether the text is introduced by a computer input stream or a scanned input submitted to an Optical character recognition (OCR) engine. Source 1 is an image that is showing a man in a washroom washing his hands with soap. It can be made out that the man is white and of high social class. It is an advertisement about Pears’ soap and its advances in cleaning purposes. But on the other hand we can read the saying “The White Man’s Burden” which is used to indicate that white men have a responsibility o0f being paternalistic towards the first nations. In this case it is most likely first nations since in the background there are signs of ships and imperialism. The ideological perspective presented in the source is globalization. If there was no competition between the European countries it was most likely that America would have never been found. The links between the principles
In the UK, it is a must to follow the law of equality whilst employing any person for the job, according to section 159, positive action: Recruitment and selection of equality and anti-discrimination law (Butler, 2016). Therefore, according to this law if a person is having similar qualities and qualifications required as per the job description, is already working with the organisation, the organisation cannot recruit the person from outside and decline the promotion to the employee. If in the Debenhams department store there are more than one employee, who are experienced and eligible for the post of floor manager; it would be unethical and illegal to promote one employee over the other employee. Therefore, an organisation needs to make all
The client in this report is Richard Potter. He is a London Black Cab Driver, he was chosen as the client due to the fact he would use the application on a daily basis because his current Taxi Cab does not include a built-in trip computer as standard and one would be helpful to him while at work to give him useful information about his journeys and the vehicle, which he relies on to produce any sort of salary since he is self-employed. His job consists of making journeys of varying lengths between destinations across London and the surrounding boroughs, occasionally on longer journeys outside of the capital such as to Stansted or Gatwick Airport. The application would be built with him in mind, meaning it must be easy and quick to
Being the main method of communicating an opportunity to an audience, a side project was introduced for me to create a poster about my desire to offer nutrition education in October. The project got completed in and posted in December mainly due to a misunderstanding on my part that I am not able to make a project poster as I would in high school, work-life conflicts with time, and how long it would take to create a YMCA poster through the official marketing channels within YMCA with emails back and forth. Once the poster was up it really did not make much of a difference except attract positive feedback from other staff that the facility definitely could use the service for the members since they are at a loss of how to address
The article I have choose to write about for Unit 4 is Skills to use as a Therapist. There are many skills and traits that can help you become a great councilor. Using these skills will help you become better at your job. Number one is having Empathy, having the ability to be attuned to individual's needs, also to help them understand their feelings. Second is having great listening skills. Being able to listen to your clients feelings and being able to reflect them back to them. Try to focus on what they might not be saying to you. So you are able to help them talk about the things that may really be bothering them. Third, having great social and communication skills is very important. You want to be able to communicate
