Democratic Policy Making Process A Democratic government is one where the citizens hold most of the power, instead of the political officials. With that being in mind, I do believe the policy making process is democratic, to an extent. I believe government officials consider the people’s opinions on smaller matters, such as enforcing curfews for children under eighteen, but not to aide in finding a solution to more prominent issues, such as lowering the cost of healthcare.
