Why Did Japan Attack Pearl Harbor? Many blameless people were attacked in Pearl Harbor on 1941. The Japanese sent submarines and planes to attack the United States. This announced the beginning of World World Two. Pearl Harbor was attacked on December 1941 by the Japanese in Hawaii. Pearl Harbor was attacked during the beginning of World War Two. Japan created a conflict with America at Pearl Harbor due to Embargos, Immigration Quota, and the Expansion of American Navy. The evidence proven states the reasons why Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. The three reasons why the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor were for a new plan for a new world order, US oil embargo, and US fleet expansion. One reason for the attack was US fleet expansion. In document “C" it states that in August 1941, “The United states imposes an embargo on oil shipments to Japan.” This shows how the US is stopping trade with Japan. In other words, the quote stated means that Japan couldn't trade with the US anymore. US oil embargo caused the Japanese to attack after the United States because the Japanese wanted oil.
A third reason for the attack was a new world order. New world order is an idea where Japan will rule the entire world. In document “C” it states, “December 1941 Japan attacks Pearl Harbor.” Japan did this because the US moved the Navy & took off resources. Also in document “B” it mentions that Japan is more interested in seizing all oil fields and the only way to do what they had to do was by invading the “Netherland East Indies” and they did “after the Pearl Harbor Bombing.” A new world order caused the Japanese to attack because the US expanded the navy and stopped oil embargoes. Although there were probably other reasons for the Japanese attack, for example, expansion in the Pacific, there were three main reasons: A New World Order, US Oil Embargo, and US Fleet Expansion. There were many reasons why the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor but there were three main important reasons. It is important to understand the reasons Japan attacked Pearl Harbor to be able to prevent anything like this from ever happening
