Communication remains a critical aspect of everyday life of all people across the globe, be it in the workplace, family meetings, business activity, or any other initiative that requires human interaction (Varner, 2000). The following subsection highlights both the verbal and non-verbal communication in France. It is noteworthy that individuals aspiring to do business in France must have considerable knowledge of the French way of communication. According to Thorne (2003), the first impression often means much to the French and may determine the outcome of a business relationship or any other activity involving human interaction. The way an individual behaves during a communication process matters a lot to the French people.
