The problem with this procedure is that in the process of getting the child you want you are fertilizing countless numbers of embryos, in other words, creating countless numbers of children, and then discarding them before they even have the chance to grow. For each person that goes through this procedure they have the potential to kill hundreds of children, only to find their one, perfect child.
