Aztec, Inca And Aztec Civilizations

In the past, many different civilizations have made amazing achievements. Three of the many civilizations have made quite interesting fulfillments. In the past, people were astonished at what humans in the America's had accomplished! The Aztec, Mayan, and Incan civilizations each had something that impressed people that came from different cultures. The Aztec's had a very impressive capital, the Mayan's had stunning pyramids, and the Incan's made a advanced way on how to farm.

The Aztecs were a remarkable civilization. Th is civilization were distrusted and disliked because they tended to push others out of their way. They ruled an empire in Tenochtitlan in the time of 1350 to 1519. They also were known for their agriculture and human sacrifices. Agriculture was a very important part of their h istory because without their farming method the Aztec couldn't have created such great civilization. According to Document A of the Aztec DBQ, states that the Aztec empire grew more than 200 miles west to east, and north to south. The Mayan, Aztec, and Inca civilizations brought major accomplishments to the world today. These accomplishments established them as advanced societies during their time without the influence of Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Some of these accomplishments ranged from agriculture to architecture and on to writing and trade. Such as, the Mayans with their agriculture system of chinampas and there monumental temple/pyramids, the Aztecs with their trading in the city of Tenochtitlan, and the Incas with their road and bridge system connecting the whole empire.

Between the 1500s and 1800s the Spanish controlled vast amounts of lands in the Americas. Their sovereignty extended from the southern tip of South America all the way up to the coast of California, along with various Islands in the Caribbean. Throughout the reign of the Spanish, racial diversity among the population impacted social stability. The elite’s determination to maintain power and lower classes’ aim for upward social mobility were constant struggles during Spanish rule. Since class was determined based on ethnicity, social stability was directly correlated with racial diversity.

A very long time ago, there were many ancient civilizations, three of them were called the Olmecs, Aztecs and Mayans. These were ancient civilizations that, throughout history, had many accomplishments. Focusing in on some of these achievements, a lot of the advancements made by these civilizations were in religion, economy, and technology.

In history we the people have found to realize that the Maya, Aztec, and Inca culture was one of the most incredible findings of their accomplishments. The Maya, Aztec, and Inca civilizations were really smart in topics of engineering, writing, agriculture and astronomy. Also all three had their beliefs, and good with agriculture. All three cultures used great technologies in their agriculture like slash and burn, terrace farming. They all hunted for religion, they had a huge belief with the people spread throughout each region. They all had a lot of interest in the use of chocolate in the region, and cultivation. They all were pretty much the same just different beliefs.

The Mayan, Inca, and Aztec civilizations each originated from Latin America. The Mayans lived in southern and central Mexico, other Mayans lived in Central America in the present day countries of Belize, Guatemala, and ancient Honduras. The Incas lived along the long coastal strip, and in the high peaks and deep fertile valleys of the Andes Mountains, and along the edges of the tropical forest to the east; this would be the country of Peru, Ecuador, Chile, Bolivia, and Argentina in present days. The Aztecs were from Aztlan located in both north and northwest Mexico.

The Aztec and Inca Empires arose 1000 to 1500 century C.E. in Mesoamerica and South America. The Aztecs arrived in central Mexico approximately the fifteenth century. The Incas settled in the region around Lake Titicaca about mid-thirteenth century and by the late fifteenth century, the Incas had built an enormous empire stretching more the 4,000 kilometers. Both empires were enormous, the Incan Empire ended up being the largest state in South America. Neither empire had developed a written language, but they did come up with a way to remember things and keep records.

The Aztecs had one of the most successful and advanced empires of all time. The Inca empire was one of the most advanced technology empires during the period of 1400 to 1533 C.E. The Inca Civilization thrive on the ancient Andean region of South America. By the end, their empire spread across the western South America from Quito in the North to Santiago to the South. Up until, its conquest by Spanish military in the 1530s. In this course of time, Incas were facing some slumps and success moments.

The Aztec and Incan empire in Mesoamerica and the Andean Regions differed in their religious, cultural, and political traditions. Although both empires were located in the area of Mesoamerica, they were only similar in few ways. These two cultures were very influential to the nurturing of Mesoamerica and the Andean Regions.

The events that occurred between the Aztecs and Spanish Conquistadors have many sides and opportunities for debate. One of the most debated topics being; Who was more savage and who was more Civil? Both the Aztecs and Spanish had powerful and thriving empires. These empires displayed their dominance through their advanced technology and flourishing military. Though it may seem that the Spanish were more advanced than the Aztecs, the Aztecs and Spanish were actually quite close to being equal in technological advancements.

The Aztec and Inca population had very different weapons in comparison to the Spanish. For example the Inca people mostly used hand-to-hand combat while the Spanish used lances and swords because they also had horses while the Inca didn’t. Though the Inca’s even had a fortress that ran along their border and a population that easily outnumbered the Spanish, the Spanish still dared to create a battle between the two populations. An analysis shows that warriors from both the Aztecs and Incas started training from a young age. When the spanish came to the Americas the Aztec and Inca had more experience but the Spanish had better weaponry. When a battle of 80000 Incas and 169 spaniards broke out, 70000 Incas died while none of the Spanish died,

Mesoamerica was once a place filled with growing, ruthless empires and civilizations. Although not one was like the Aztecs and their empire. Although they started off with a humble beginning, they quickly grew into a great civilization that dominated present day Central Mexico. They conquered and expanded into an empire stronger than the other neighboring empires. And, the heart of the Aztec empire, Tenochtitlan was a grand capital filled with people and temples.
