Explanation of Solution
Exogenic events are the activities occurring on the surface of the earth and causing movement of the particles along the hillslopes. Exogenic events include landslides, volcanic eruptions, mudflows, and tree falling. The exogenic events change the potential energy of the rock particles and increase the gravitational force more than their friction along the slope. The reduced friction and change in the equilibrium of the particles cause the movement of the particles.
