Sociology → Criminology The social learning theory believes that delinquent behavior is learned via the same psychological process as any other behavior, including it itself"(Adler,2022 ) Environmental factors may include lack of guardianship, Strains of making money lead to selling drugs and guns. Others may have been associated through intergenerational membership. I believe that structural strain may be liable for the development of this gang. Nonetheless these individuals may have lacked parental supervision and guidance. Due to these individuals being repeat offenders I believe they mirrored this lifestyle from an early upbringing. Conflict theory states that “competition between groups, often framing issues in terms of dominance and subordination “(Conflict Theory in Sociology, 2022) This is what may have lead to ,amy of the crimes being committed by this gang.

Through data criminal justice professionals can assist in creating programs and carrying out daily practices to reduce crime. These data and theories allow criminal justice professionals with an advantage in contesting crime and understanding the areas they work with in delivering the right amount of support to atest new trends in the community. Data can achieve(Why Data Matters in Criminal Justice | Walden University, n.d.) 1. Response planning- CJP can determine what response methods are the most efficient in certain situations. 2. Crime prevention- As CJP bring crime data together (Truancy, unemployment rates, incidences) Law enforcement can correlate what affects crime. 3. Criminal identification- Data analytics has lead to connections between cases which can lead to narrowing suspects. 4. Risk Assessment – Data driven systems can assist in determine the risk of a convicted criminal to the community.
