Innovate 3X03 – Final Pitch Deck Project
Step 1: Introduction This assignment requires you to apply the marketing, pitch, and persuasion skills you have
developed throughout Innovate 3X03. Through the submission of a detailed PITCH DECK the
objective is to successfully represent your assigned organization and product to the Board of
Directors with the intent of securing funding for your recommended advertising campaign. Groups of 6 students will be randomly assigned to organizations. For example, one group could
Apple and the Macbook Air and a second group could represent Microsoft and the Surface Pro
Laptop, and so on. A full list of this semester’s topics is shared below. In addition, each student
will be required to represent an existing employee of the organization that is determined to play
a key role in securing funding.
A successful pitch deck should have the audience feel as though the
content is being delivered in person. It should have emotion and
influence, strong overview and detail, thorough analysis supported by
primary and secondary research, while simultaneously aligning with
key brand elements, and formatted in an inviting way.
At the conclusion of the Final Pitch Deck project, students of Innovate 3X03 will have created a
document that represents the key information required to influence and persuade decision
makers. Step 2: Team Formation During class in Weeks 1 and 2 you will be asked to form multi-disciplinary teams with 6 people. Each student must join their group in A2L under Communication>Groups
