Discuss the short-term and long-term goals needed to be achieved in order to accomplish your
organizational change. Be specific regarding the short-term and long-term goals of your topic. Make
sure to provide support.
There are many goals that should be achieved when working in an organization. There are many
goals and ideas that many people have in order to make the organization grow as a whole. Typically,
short-term goals are defined as accomplishments that take 3 months to a few years. Long-term
goals are usually completed in 3 to 5 years, or longer. This is not a set practice, simply a common
guideline that makes sense when laying out your plans. I am focusing on the miscommunication
between patients and healthcare professionals, and how this can cause issues. One of my
short-term goals is to have monthly newsletters that are delivered to all of the healthcare
professionals regarding the hospital's performance and how well they did. Another short-term goal
you could have is to have monthly check-ins and assessments with all of the staff in order to ensure
that they are communicating well with their patients and relaying all of the information. A long-term
goal that I would have is to eventually get rid of the miscommunication between patients and
healthcare professionals, which in turn, will result in a mortality rate in mistakes throughout the
hospital being lower.

It is important to understand that for a business to succeed, being motivated and hardworking does not guarantee a good positive outcome for the company. There are other key factors that have to be in place in order to put the company on a path for success. These factors include effective planning and decision-making with a systematic approach that considers the available information, the goals and objectives of the organization, and the potential outcomes of different decisions.
One of the companies I admire the most today is Apple. I because of how it started and all the changes they had to go through to become the company they are today. Apple is well-known for its innovations in hardware, software, and services. Thanks to them, it grew from some 8,000 employees and $7 billion in revenue in 1997, the year Steve Jobs returned, to 137,000 employees and $260 billion in revenue in 2019. Much less well…

A stability strategy is a corporate strategy that focuses on maintaining the current business operations and staying consistent with existing products, markets, and business processes (Parnell, 2017). This strategy aims to avoid major changes and risks, and instead, focuses on optimizing efficiency and profitability within the current business model (Wang et al., 2020). There are many reasons why an organization may choose to adopt a stability strategy, as this strategy is usually adopted when a company operates in a stable industry with limited growth opportunities and has achieved a dominant market position (Parnell, 2017). Oftentimes, stability strategies are employed during times of uncertainty or economic downturn, making core business and resource conservation a priority (Wang et al., 2020). A SWOT matrix is a strategic planning tool that is used to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of an organization or a project (Parnell, 2017). It is a visual representation that consists of four quadrants, with each quadrant focusing on one aspect of the SWOT analysis. Strengths generally refer to the internal capabilities and resources that an organization possesses (Parnell, 2017)). These can include factors such as a strong brand image, a skilled workforce, advanced technology, or efficient processes (Puyt et al., 2020). Weaknesses, however, highlight the internal limitations and areas of improvement (Parnell, 2017). These can be areas where the organization lacks expertise, has limited financial resources, or is facing challenges such as high employee turnover (Puyt et al., 2020).
