1. What types of technology do you use in the classroom frequently?
I use Microsoft Office 365, Canvas, GoGuardian, and Zearn every day
. I use my laptop daily to display the assignments on the projector. Students are one to one with Chromebooks. GoGuardian is used to see what they are doing on their computers. I use my laptop, Canvas and Microsoft Office every
day
. I frequently use Canvas to view the class agenda for the day and Quizziz. Students complete their assignments on Quizziz as an informal assessment. While students complete their Quizziz, I open GoGuardian to monitor their screens. I use my MacBook and laptop daily
. Students use their chromebook to complete online assignments after teaching.
We do a lot of podcast so students spend a lot of time in groups creating content.

2. Why do you use these technologies frequently?
Our entire math team work together and use the
same technology to compare data
Our entire district are a Microsoft Office school. Students have been using this technology since they were in Elementary school. The students and I are both comfortable with
it and it is user friendly
The district uses GoGuardian and Canvas. Students are familiar with Canvas and know how to easily find the assignments and agenda for the day. The know the expectations when they see GoGuardian on their screens. All sources describe how the students and they are comfortable with the technology they use daily. It is easy to use and navigate.

3. What applications are the best for formative assessments? Why?
I love using Performance Matters and SchoolNet. These platforms allow students to see questions in the form they would be for their state test
. It provides the students with
feedback as soon as they are done testing. The other teachers and I also use this to compare data to see what standards need to be retaught as a whole class and small group.
I like to use Quizziz for assessments, mainly informal. Quizziz allows the students to see questions that they would see on their unit test. The students get instant feedback without waiting for me to grade it. They can practice these questions and retry on the
ones they got wrong. A lot
of students use this as a way to student for the content they have not mastered yet.
I like using SchoolNet and Podcast for my assessments. SchoolNet allows my students to see questions that they would see on the state test. Students can get familiar with the testing vocabulary and learn testing strategies as well. I use Podcast for performance tasks. This is more of a creative way for students to tell me what they have learned.
All sources discuss how these technology help students with testing and provide them immediate feedback. Each expresses the importance of these technologies being able to
provide the students with content that is familiar to their state test and will benefit the students in the
long run. Themes

4. How does technology in the
classroom help you better serve your students?
Students are able to see what their assignments are and have access to them at all times as long as it is unlocked. Even absent students can get their assignments completed on time. Most of the assignments are self-grading so once they are done, they can get immediate feedback without having to wait on me to grade the assignment. Also, I am able to pull aside students that may need more help or do small groups in my class. My students complete all of their assignments online for my class. It is easy for me to do small groups while they are working on their assignments. I can also provide them with feedback quickly.
Technology helps me to be able to do small groups within my class. I can also give the students different assignments based on their
ability level. Because most assignments are self-
grading, my students get feedback pretty quickly. All sources mentioned how technology allowed them time to work with struggling students while others were busy working on their assignments.
