The Hound of the Baskervilles, by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, tells the tale of the fabled hound that haunts the Baskerville family. Throughout the novel, the author forms the theme of not being ruled by fear, by the characters dealing with, unexplained deaths, strange sounds, and the existence of the hound. In the beginning, these moments in the novel confuse and scare the characters.This is shown because, even though the characters didn’t know what was happening, none of them were “ruled by fear.”

(Doyle, 51) As all stories that have been both stories and books, there will he obviously some similarities and some differences between the two versions.
