Going into the testing I was expecting it to be a lot like my EMT-B practical testing. I expected the tests to be scenario based, with a list of things the students had to do. I was expecting the format to be stricter ex: having to say BSI right away and scene safe. Going in I figured nerves would be very high for some of the students during this time. Not only is it finals week and the students are already stressed, but also you are being awkwardly tested by some stranger. I was expecting the students
student is performing. There is some idea of what is a ‘good’ or ‘bad’ grade, but what does it mean? The amount of value given to these letters also promotes students to have an unhealthy obsession with them. The only way to break free from these issues is to implement a new grading system. Report cards do not demonstrate why a student receives a certain grade. They merely state the grade. It may appear that a student with a low grade has a lot of room for improvement, but how can this be facilitated
Based on the above discussion and the statistical analysis conducted in Chapter Four, the outcome determined that enough evidence supports the rejection of the null hypothesis of no difference. The findings indicate that there was a statistically significant difference presented in the seasonal performance of junior male and female student-athletes with respect to their GPA scores. The dialogue of the literature with respect to those findings revealed that there were a number of possible justifications

homework like normal. Ms. J picked 5 different questions to grade with the students as she worked them out on the board. She then had the students put their grade at the top and pass it in. I asked Ms. J how she inserts grades because she is always grading when I come in her room. She said she looks for progress more than the grade. Sometimes she averages them at the end of the week so if the students were having an off week their grades would not suffer to terribly. The students then moved to their
high school career with more knowledge than I ever expected. Major changes in my life have affected my high school career, but a large impact came from the death of my father in eighth grade. Before his passing, I was an average A/B student in middle school and even elementary school, which quickly changed in 8th grade when my classes became too hard for me to handle. I decided the best thing for my mental health was to drop out of my higher level classes. This lead to being in standard classes throughout
different choices. Some people agree that students should be graded on skills others believe they should be graded on effort. Underwood opinion that students should be graded on their academic skills, rather than effort, is correct because it is hard to grade effort and if students cannot show their skills then they don’t understand. Underwood’s opinion states that students should be graded on their academic

Since the last couple years I Frittered on getting it done, thinking I have time to finish it but now I'm struggling to get it done. For example I worked on my PTP everyday after school with a teacher who can help me. But as for classes it's turning out better then what I expected, because I thought I'd be failing Algebra 2 by now. The things I'm doing well on for me to graduate is passing my classes
