The Moldau is not program music, it is symphonic poem. The difference is the number of movement in the work. This poem evokes the Vltava river, which in German is the Moldau that is a river. This is a Chez poem written by a Bohemian composer Bedrich Smetana that paints a picture of the Bohemian river in the woods.
