They all demonstrate the vicious and futile cycle of violence and how it is a useless notion that

Cinematography is an art that only few are able to master. Within the four films we watched concluding our final, many messages and themes were delivered. The overall common theme in each film summoned to be, that a happy ending in our world today is not reality. In reality, bad things happen to good people and there is nothing anyone can do about it, in which is a secondary theme. This common theme was developed after watching and analyzing the films Sicario, Incendies, Paradise Now, and The Hunt
