Concept introduction:
The cardiovascular disease is a group of disease that affect the heart and the circulatory system. It includes heart attack, angina, and stroke. The hypertension and atherosclerosis are the main causes of the cardiovascular disease.
But scientists have found that some viral and bacterial infections also contribute to the cardiovascular diseases. Helicobacter pylori is a bacteria which cause gum diseases in humans. It is found that a person with this type of infection is more prone to cardiovascular disease. There are many more bacterial and viral infections like Chlamydia pneumonia, and Cytomegalovirus, that lead to heart diseases.
