Vessels in eyes supply nutrients and the blood to the eyes. Arteries of the eyes supply oxygenated blood, and veins carry deoxygenated blood. Redness in eye is due to the dilated blood vessels. Abnormal growth of the vessels can cause poor flow in eyes.
