One mole of Gold (Au) atom has a mass of 197 g. We know that the density of gold is 19.30 g/cm3 in room temperature. Calculating lung volume in humans. In humans, oxygen and carbon dioxide are exchanged in the blood within many small sacs called alveoli in the lungs. Alveoli provide a large surface area for gas exchange.
