We have to find an equation of that line which passes through (1, 7) and perpendicular to the 2x+7y=1 

 So equation of lines perpendicular to the 2x+7y=1 is given as follows 

7x-2y+c=0   .......... (1) 

Since line also passes through the point (1, 7)  so this point must be satisfy the equation (1) 

7×1-2×7+c=0

Or c =7 

Now put c=7 in equation (1) we get 

7x-2y+7=0 

Above line is the equation  of required line in standard form
