Why is treating veterans with ptsd considered difficult to do when looking for a positive outcome

PTSD is a debilitating condition and is often found in soldiers and veterans who have been in armed combat or otherwise experienced the horrors of war or incursion. Veterans often seek treatment for PTSD but many tools and techniques have so far proven ineffective in treating this population. There are common barriers that make treating PTSD in veterans difficult. Some of them are discussed in the next section.
