Who dealt with religion in the best way - Elizabeth I or Mary I?  Explain your answer

Mary I was the first queen of England to reign in her own right rather than be designated as queen because of marriage to the King. She was the daughter of King Henry VIII and Spanish Princess Catherine of Aragon. 

Elizabeth I was the last Tudor monarch. She was the daughter of King Henry III and his second wife Anne Boleyn. She ascended to the throne after her half-sister Mary I's death in 1558.
