He has a very high opinion of himself, but he has a very negative opinion of everyone else around him. He didn't realise it at the time, because he was too obsessed with kissing his mirror but the plot had a very special surprise in store for him, one that will thoroughly teach him the wrong of his ways right in front of our own eyes. It started when he works together with the FBI in order to explain how the Four Horsemen committed their crimes. But Thaddeus eventually stopped cooperating with the FBI because he was too obsessed with exposing the Four Horseman for own show. However, by being a greedy person, Thaddeus has accepted Arthur Tressler's offer to humiliate the Four Horsemen by exposing the secrets of their tricks. He accepted the offer as part of the purpose for doing what he does, and he gets a hefty paycheck for it, which is enough to buy him off. When Thaddeus returned to his car after the Horsemen's final act, he was shocked to discover that it was stuffed with stolen money. He was imprisoned for robbery and being accused of being the fifth member of the Horsemen. In hindsight, we can see that he was put in this position due to his inflated ego, which led him to believe that he was always one step ahead of everyone else.
