Angiosperms are also known as flowering plants. In angiosperms, the reproduction takes place in the flowers, it is a modified form of a stem. Flower attached with the help of stalk, which is called a pedicel. The swollen base of the flower is called the thalamus or receptacle. The floral leaf of flower constituted with calyx and corolla are arranged with a definite formula called floral formula. Calyx help in attracting insects for pollination. The male reproductive organ (Androecium) present in the flower is called the stamen, which is a filament-like structure. The female reproductive organ (Gynoecium) present in the flower is called the carpel, and It consists of three parts; stigma, style, and ovary.
