In the old Pennsylvania State House in Philadelphia, The Constitutional Convention took place from May 25 to September 17, 1787. This Constitutional Convention drew fifty-five delegates from the states. These delegates convened in Philadelphia’s Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence had been adopted in 1776.
