A) Computer storage manufacturers market their drives in terms of decimal (base 10) capacity like '8TB' of the above PCS product. If you pay $400 for this product, you are buying 8 terabyte (TB) or 8,000,000,000,000 bytes personal cloud storage drive. However, when it is connected to and used by your computer of Windows or some older versions of Mac OS, the operating system will display its capacity in terms of binary (base 2).
