What do you mean by Muhammad in Mecca and Medina
Muhammad is said to be the last Prophet of God who was sent by him to spread his teachings to the people of the world. His birth took place in the year 570 AD on the land of Mecca. He was sent to spread the teachings of the previous monotheist such as Abraham, Moses, Jesus, etc.
Muhammad received the messages of God through the medium of an angel called Gabriel. The teachings acquired by Muhammad from Gabriel were spread by him to the other people in Mecca. Slowly few people became disciples of Muhammad. But some of the radical Polytheists in the Meccas opposed Muhammad due to which he had to move to Medina. His movement from the holy land of Mecca to the holy land of Medina is known as Yathrib.
Muhammad lived in Medina and united the tribes there and converted them into Islam. He then builds an army and attacked Mecca and got successful in acquiring it. The majority of the population in Mecca was converted to Islam. This way the Arabian Peninsula was mostly converted into Islam. The death of the Prophet took place in Medina.
