The pre-industrialized societies are the majority indigenous mode of production societies. The people in these societies live in rural areas. The rural economies are the one which constituted to the overall economy of the nation. industrialization has changed everything from the mode of the production process to the people's living standards.
EXPLANATION
Industrialization has led to the emergence of urbanization. the people from rural locations moved to the regions near the industries that developed as urban centers in the long run. due to the unplanned and unstructured urbanization, there developed several problems in the urban centers.
- Fiscal problems: due to the large migration of people from rural regions, most of the people living in the urban centers are middle and below-middle-class groups who have come in search of employment opportunities. the urban centers demand high paying for the basic requirements like food, shelter, etc., which leads to fiscal problems.
- Crowding: the cities get crowded due to the larger migration of people. they are two types. the residential crowding where the larger number of people live in the small regions. household crowding is where a large number of people live in a small household.
- Housing: due to the sudden migration, there emerges the problem of lack of housing available for the people to stay. If there is housing in cases, it is not affordable for all the people, there will be a lack of affordable housing.
- Homelessness: due to the poverty and lack of purchasing power and the cities demanding higher investments to sustain the lives there, there is homelessness concerning several people. due to this, the people occupy the footpaths to lead their lives in the cities.
- Pollution: air pollution becomes a major problem due to the growing traffic with a large number of vehicles onto the roads. there also lies the lack of affordable transportation issues for the middle and weaker sections.
