The objective of this project is to use functions and procedures appropriately.
User Input:
• The number of credit hours for which the student registered
Information needed for calculations:
• Full time is considered 12 or more credit hours
• If a student is full time
Tuition is $2280
Fees are $351
If a student is part time
Tuition is $190 * number of credit hours
Fees are $169
Buttons:
Calculate Tuition
1. Store the number of credits in a variable numberCredits
2. Call a function with numberCredits as an argument that accomplishes the
following:
a. Calculates tuition
b. Calculates fees
c. Displays tuition and fees on the form
d. Calculates and returns the total due (tuition + fees)
3. Display the total due on the form
Clear Form
Call a procedure to clear all appropriate controls
• Exit
Exits the application
Project Requirements:
• All buttons should contain access keys
• Form should contain an accept button and a cancel button
• Tab order should be appropriate
• Dollar values should be formatted for currency and right aligned
• Variable names should follow standards discussed in class
