Hi Denis
Our car rental division meet its major goal (i.e. to maximize profit) by paying car rental
division employees minimum wage with no benefits or expenditure on developing these
employee's skills. We also oppose unionisation for these employees. Although
employee turnover in this division is high, the job requires low to no skills and we can
easily replace employees that leave.

Sarah

None payment of UIF applicable to car rental sales employees

Dear Sarah
I noted from the trial balance that UIF applicable to the car rental division's employees
are not accounted for. Employees in the car rental division also indicated that the
company does not allow membership with any worker's union, neither invest in any of
the division's employees to develop new skills.
Do you perhaps know why?
Regards
Mr Denis French
