It is known to be a part of various reactions, for example, electrophilic addition of alkynes and solvolysis as well. It plays the role of a reactive intermediate in these reactions.
Cycloheptatrienyl Cation
It is an aromatic carbocation having a general formula, [C7 H7]+. It is also known as the aromatic tropylium ion. Its name is derived from the molecule tropine, which is a seven membered carbon atom ring. Cycloheptatriene or tropylidene was first synthesized from tropine.

According to Cahn-Ingold-Prelog the priority of substituents as per following rules.
1. Rank all directly attached atom to chiral center as per their atomic number,here Br has highest atomic number than C so Br goes to first priority.
2.If Directly attached atom is same then consider next atom and prioritize according to their atomic number, here Methyl,Ethyl and alkene C=C propene group out of these C=C ethylene goes to second,ethyl goes to third and methyl on last means fourth priority.

2) Second Priority =Etylene =Blue
