In order to test the claim that population proportion is greater than 0.3, that is, $p>0.3$, conduct a single proportion $z$-test. 

The hypothesis test contain two hypotheses: null hypothesis and alternate hypothesis. The alternate hypothesis is about the claim which is to be tested.
