The Chicago convention established a very significant agency for the united nations, which is ICAO ( international civil aviation organization), giving the facility of international air travel. It came into effect in 1947. The convention established rules of air travel, air safety, registration, and sustainability, etc. The ICAO has become a specialized agency of the United Nation Economic and social council. The Chicago convention has been revised several times according to the needs of the situation.
