Summarize what happened to China after WW2?

World War II or WW2 was a significant war in human history that left behind a huge impact on different countries of the world like Japan, the U.S, China, India, and many others. It took place from 1939-45. It was a war between the Allied and Axis powers but many other countries also participated in it as military personnel, or as suppliers of war goods. The war led to many changes in the social, political, and economic spheres, etc across the world.
